RJE was commissioned to assist in the redesign of the plant process to achieve a reliable and robust process and process control philosophy. The RJE construction team implemented major plant Electrical and Instrumentation additions and modifications for both the surface and underground system to achieve the required process functionality.
The plant control system was re-designed to provide a robust and accurate recipe control algorithm. On completion of commissioning the plant was proven to operate at over 200% initial design capacity and the project costs were kept within the budget of $550k.
