Lanfranchi Nickel Mine Project is located approximately 42km south of Kambalda, Western Australia. RJE were selected to complete the design and construction of a transportable switchroom, all electrical works for two 850kW 3.3kV mine ventilation fans.

St Barbara is located just out of Leonora, approximately 230km south of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. RJE were selected to complete transportable switchroom design and construction, electrical design and installation and commissioning for two 1.2MW mine ventilation fans.

The Hallett Wind Farm is located approximately 187kms north of Adelaide, South Australia. The farm consists of 45 Suzlon 2.1 MW windpower generators. For this project RJE was selected to install and terminate all HV cabling. Total project value ~AUD$3.0M.

Birla Nifty Copper Mine is located in the Great Sandy Desert Region on the East Pilbara in Western Australia, approximately 350 km east of Port Hedland. RJE were selected to complete all the electrical works on the new underground Crushing Station.

Mindare is located approximately 186km east of Adelaide, South Australia. RJE completed the Design and Engineering of the 66/11kV Substation which involved the installation of a 6.25MVA Transformer, Switchyard and Switchgear. Total project value ~AUD$1.5M.

The Emu Downs Wind Farm is located approximately 200kms north of Perth, Western Australia and consists of 48 Vestas 1.65MW Windpower generators

RJE undertook the detailed electrical design for the Emu Downs Windfarm Project which involved the cable installation and termination for the wind turbines.

Ginkgo Substation is located approximately 190km north of Mildura, Victoria. It was built for BeMax Resources Ltd and involved the installation of a 16MVA transformer and the associated switchgear. Total project value of ~AUD$1.3M.

The Alinta Wind Farm, also known as the Walkaway Wind Farm is located approximately 50km out of Geraldton, Western Australia.

RJE used state of  the art EDSA software package to fully simulate and fault analyse the proposed HV cable network prior to installation.

RJE completed the Installation and Termination to 45 wind power generators. Total Project value ~AUD$3.0M.

RJE undertook the detailed electrical design of the Lake Bonney Stage 1 Wind Farm Project. Lake Bonney is located approximately 45km north west of Mt Gambier, South Australia.

State of the art EDSA electrical design software was utilised to model all aspects of the electrical overflow, fault analysis and protection study.

RJE was commissioned by Stanwell to assist with the management, quality control, site rehabilitation and commissioning during the later stages of the Toora Windfarm Project.

The Hartley Quarry is located in Hartley which is approximately 15km out of Lithgow, New South Wales. RJE was selected to complete all electrical installation works for the above ground crushing and material handling overland conveyor system. Total project value ~AUD$1.55M.

Sleaford Substation is located approximately 15km south west of Port Lincoln, South Australia. RJE were selected to complete the design and construction of the transportable switchroom and switchyard which included the installation of a 40MVA transformer. Total project value ~AUD$650k.

RJE was commissioned by KBR/Theiss Contractors to provide engineering, construction management and construction personnel to re-build and enhance the Uranium Solvent Extraction Plant.

In addition, RJE won the CCTV, Area Lighting and Security contract worth AUD$800k and the completion team with a contract value of AUD$1.2m. For the duration of this project RJE had 35 men on site for 12 weeks.

RJE won the tender to perform the Electrical installation and commissioning works for this project.

The 800tph conveying system was approximately 3.5km in length and took ore from the underground crushing station to the surface stockpile with two conveyors.

RJE has been working with WMC for some time on the optimisation and automation of the mine surface ventilation system. Detailed studies have been performed analysing maintenance costs, operational costs and downtime of the system. The findings have led to the initiation of a complete upgrade of the system with a projected budget of over AUD$2m with a payback period of less than 2 years.

RJE was commissioned by both WMC and Halliburton KBR to perform E&I engineering as well as commissioning of the Optimisation 3 project at WMC's Olympic Dam Mine in northern South Australia

The project consisted of a major upgrade to the ore grinding circuit, electro refinery and cathode stripping machine.

The MIM Paste Fill plant had been designed and constructed some time prior to RJE's involvement, but was unable to achieve reliable production of cemented paste for the mine backfill system.

RJE was commissioned to design, construct and commission the Electrical, Instrument and Control system works for this project. The plant was designed to filter mercury from plant acid to meet industry standards.

RJE was commissioned to perform the construction design, following on to the construction and commissioning of the Electrical works associated with the Oberon Mill Dry Mill Sorting and stacking system.
