RJE was commissioned to design, construct and commission
the Electrical, Instrument and Control system works for this project.
The plant was designed to filter mercury from plant acid to meet industry
standards. The process used generated Hydrogen gas and was therefore
classified a hazardous area. All design, construction and commissioning
works were based around the compliance to the AS requirements for this
area classification. All associated works were completed without incident
and the project operated to design requirements. The approximate value
of this project was $450k.
